How it works

We offer a free 30 minute consultation:

  • To allow parents to discuss their child's unique learning needs, challenges, and goals, enabling us to tailor our tutoring approach accordingly.

  • During the consultation, parents will receive an overview of our phonics program, including methods, session structure, and how we measure progress, ensuring alignment and clarity before starting the tutoring process.

In addition, we offer a FREE 30 minute assessment session for your child:

  • The session will involve a comprehensive phonics and reading assessment, allowing us to understand your child's current skills and needs.

If you choose to book in following the assessment, we'll assign your child a regular time slot in a group that aligns perfectly with their needs. Our program operates on a 4-week cycle, ensuring flexibility without long-term commitments.

iF TUTORING ISN’T RIGHT FOR YOUR CHILD, WE ALSO OFFER Coaching & Support for Parents

At The Phonics Centre, we understand that some families prefer to support their child’s learning at home—with the right guidance behind them.

That’s why we offer a Parent Coaching Package—a personalised support option where you are guided by a phonics specialist (that’s me!) to confidently help your child at home. It’s perfect for parents who want to be more hands-on but aren’t sure where to start.

With my help, you’ll:

  • Understand your child’s current phonics level through an informal assessment

  • Receive step-by-step advice tailored to your child’s needs

  • Learn practical, easy-to-use strategies to build confidence and progress at home

  • Get follow-up resources and support after each session
